Building a Logging Bridge

Laying the First Log – The bridge is made of cedar only. All of the logs for this bridge were salvaged from previously felled cedars. A cedar log will keep for many decades if it is either entirely submerged in water or entire in the air above ground. Logs lying on the ground which get wet then dry, then wet again then dry will rot.
