Building a Logging Bridge

Voilà! – The finished bridge. Almost — once gravel is spread over the deck, the bridge will be hardly discernable from the rest of the dirt road. According to Don, this could be a 40-year bridge, and once it needs to be rebuilt, some of the logs may still be millable! And, the bridge is of little harm to the environment. It's construction barely disturbed the creek bed and used almost entirely natural materials, the exception being a bit of steel.
