Building a Log House

The Interior – Here you can see the interior of the main part of the pine house, after the interior of the logs has been sandblasted. The cracks betwen the logs are filled with fitted cedar and spray foam insulation then covered with wire mesh and parged with white cement mixed with white silica sand. The doors are cedar. If you look closely you can see the beams for the upstairs floor joists which span the entire width of the building so there is no need for supporting walls.
