Five men face prostitution-related charges after a police sting involving an undercover officer, London police said Friday.

Police said the suspects were alleged to have communicated with an undercover officer in an attempt to obtain sexual services. The operation was led by the London police human trafficking unit and was meant to target demand for sexual services, police said.

The exact details of the undercover operation, or the dates the men were arrested, were not released by police.

Five London men ranging from 25 to 40 years old have been charged with obtaining sexual services for consideration, an offence under section 286.1(1) of Canada’s Criminal Code.

Searches of two men arrested turned up cocaine, police said. A 39-year-old and 36-year-old have also been charged with possession of a Schedule 1 substance.
