Diplomat a john?TORONTO -- A diplomat with the Romanian consulate-general was charged after a man tried to pick up a female police officer posing as a prostitute. Police said a man was cruising in a car with diplomatic licence plates when he was arrested Aug. 14 in a west-end Toronto john sweep. The suspect, Chivel Porumb, 43, is listed as a consul and trade commissioner. He has partial diplomatic immunity, but can be deported if convicted.- Canadian Press
