Warrant bid flawed, child-prostitution trial told

VANCOUVER — The case against three Americans accused of prostituting an 11-year-old Portland girl turned yesterday as a police officer admitted he included information on a search warrant application that was false. The girl described a car as a grey sporty model with Oregon licence plates, but in applying for the search warrant, the officer swore she had called it gold Nissan Maxima, the type of car driven by the Americans.
