Hotel raid brings prostitution charges

In the end, three men were charged with living off the avails of prostitution and keeping a common bawdy house.

Police kept an eye on the Regal Hotel, in the 1000-block Granville Street, before making the arrests there. Nearly $20,000 was also seized during the raid.

Charged are Chuckwing (Wayne) Yu, 35 of Vancouver, Moti Lal, 63, of New Westminster, and Redey Vellayada, 69, of Vancouver. They were to appear in court yesterday.
