Prostitution laws to tighten

VANCOUVER -- The federal government will follow through with requests from the city of Vancouver and the B.C. government to refine recently passed legislation aimed at fighting child prostitution.

Federal Justice Minister Allan Rock made the commitment yesterday after talks with Vancouver Mayor Philip Owen and police chief Ray Canuel.

Stronger legislation will come in the fall, Rock promised.
