Counsellor jailedVancouver -- A 40-year-old man was sentenced yesterday to a month in jail for trying to obtain sexual services from a 16-year-old girl.John Lowery Makowski of Vancouver lost his job as a drug and alcohol counsellor after being charged in an incident last November at Broadway and Glen Street.
