Search for clients as prostitute found dead

POLICE are tracking down the Yorkshire clients of a young prostitute whose naked and decomposed body was found on the moors of North Yorkshire.

West Yorkshire police are using a list of telephone numbers, parts of car registration numbers and first names to trace clients of drug addict Vicki Glass.

She worked in the red light district of Middlesbrough.

The move came as a friend of Vicki's called Marissa, who is also a prostitute, said that among Vicky's regular clients were lorry drivers, some of whom are from Yorkshire.

She said: "Some of her clients were posh, men with money. Some were important with letters after their name.

"She had a boyfriend who was a lorry driver and knew many others."

West Yorkshire Police said: "Vicki Glass, whose addiction to drugs forced her into the red light area of Middlesbrough, was last seen alive in the town in the early hours of September 24.

"Six weeks later her badly decomposed body was discovered almost 20 miles away near the village of Danby, in North Yorkshire. Her clothing has never been found."
