Massage parlour death toll rises to eight
Another of the men injured in today's attack on a Sea Point massage parlour, has died in Cape Town's Groote Schuur Hospital. His death was confirmed by Philippa Johnson, a Groote Schuur Hospital spokesperson this afternoon. This brings to eight the number of men massacred shortly before 4 am in the Graham Road house, a massage parlour serving gay men. The first of the injured to be removed from the house died in the hospital at 8 am. Johnson said the hospital was still treating two other men, one of whom had been transferred from Somerset Hospital. One of the men was in a critical condition, the other is stable. When they arrived at the house this morning, police found four injured men and the bodies of six men who had been tied up and shot dead. Their throats were also slit. Sapa |
