Walnet Traffic Report -- January 1998

Fourth quarter 1997

During this three-month period, Walnet transferred 1,964 Mbytes of data. We averaged 21,562 kbytes kbytes a day. Walnet served to 26,220 distinct hosts, 2,532 in the last week. Walnet served up 99,092 webpages during the last quarter of 1997. It is interesting also to note that 91.76 per cent of all the pages served were read on Netscape or a Netscape compatible browser. As of January 5, 1998, there were 962 items (16.8 Mbytes) in the CSIS directories. Of these items 500 are .html pages.

• The Sensual Services directory served 8,296 pages or 9.18% of all CSIS.
  
  • There were 1,141 requests for other sexy links.
    
  • There were 1,965 requests for Escort services.
    
  • There were 1,152 requests for Vancouver bodyrub parlours.
    
  • Lower Mainland parlours were requested 629 times.
    
  • Adult bookstores were requested 299 times.
    

• Newclippings served 21,390 pages or 23.67% of CSIS.

• Rights Groups served 27,238 pages or 30.15% of CSIS
  
  • SWAV served 14,899 pages or 16.49% of CSIS. (In addition, SWAV's pointer page in another directory was hit 4,168 times) The John "School" position paper was served 2,135 times. Whore Wars was served up 2,142 times. SWAV's healthcards were served 2,080 times. SWAV Letters served 1,095 pages.
    
  • NSWP served 6,771 pages or 7.49% of CSIS. (In addition, NSWP's pointer page in another directory was hit 379 times.)
